Whether you’re into gardening, foraging, animal husbandry, beekeeping, mushroom growing, soap making, food preservation, or just trying to build a more resilient life–we’d love to connect.

Our goal is to gather a local network of like-minded folks who are learning, sharing, and growing together.

From dreamers to learners to professionals, everyone is welcome to come and fellowship with us and share experiences!

Whether you’re knee-deep in dirt or just sketching your first garden bed, if homesteading and self-sufficiency light you up, you’re our kind of people. We’re building a local network in the panhandle for sharing skills, swapping stories, and turning dreams into dirt-under-the-nails reality. From first-time foragers to seasoned soap-makers, everyone’s welcome—no green thumb required, just curiosity.

We’re especially jazzed about these big-picture areas (and the hands-on stuff within ’em):

  • Gardening & Plant Skills: From seed-starting and foraging to mushroom cultivation and pest-proofing beds.
  • Animal Husbandry & By-Products: Raising rabbits, chickens, goats, bees, etc.; turning fur, eggs, and honey into everyday wins.
  • Food Preservation & Processing: Canning, fermenting, drying—making the harvest last through winter.
  • Self-Sufficiency Essentials: Soap-making, tool-building, or basic off-grid hacks for resilient living.
  • Resource & Infrastructure Management: Water systems, fencing, soil testing, ponds—keeping the oasis humming.
  • Community & Survival Mindset: Barter networks, economic swaps (junk silver for seeds? raw milk for Goldbacks?), and resilience strategies for whatever comes.

Our goal? A monthly spot to learn, barter, and fellowship—bringing dreamers, learners, and pros together to grow stronger as a group. Got a flop story or pro tip? We’d love to hear it.
